Itinerary
Day 01 - Haridwar – Barkot - (215 km / Approx. 8 hours’ drive)
Welcome to hiremecabs.com, Dehradun! Pick up from Haridwar and drive to Barkot Check into the hotel arrival in Barkot. Dinner &Overnight stay at the Barkot.
Day 02 - Barkot - Yamunotri – Barkot - (36 km / 01 hour drive & 6 kms Trek (one side)
Early morning after breakfast, drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti & star trek from here to Yamunotri (5 km) (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost). After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having "Darshan" of "Yamunaji" return to Jankichatti by trek. Later drive towards Barkot, Dinner &Overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 03 - Barkot–Uttarkashi - (100 km / Approx. 4 hours drive)
The morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Dinner &Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 04 - Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi - (100 km/ 03-4 hours’ drive each side)
Early morning (packed breakfast) drive to Gangotri, enroute at Gangnani, take a holy dip in GaramKund, and further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner &Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 05 - Uttarkashi–Guptkashi - (220 km / approx. 8-9 hours’ drive)
The morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh&Lambgoan. Enroute, you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, and visit ArdhNarishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptakashi. Dinner &Overnight stay at Guptakashi.
Day 06 - Guptkashi - Sonprayag - Kedarnath - (30 km by road & 19kms Trek)
The morning after breakfast go to Kedarnath. Enjoy KedarnathPooja Darshan & back to your hotel Kedarnath. Dinner &Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07 - Kedarnath–Sonprayag – Guptkashi (19kms Trek& 30 km by road)
The morning after breakfast checks out from the hotel. Then back to Guptkashi by trek. Dinner &Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 - Guptkashi– Badrinath - (200 km / Approx. 7 hours drive)
The morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening dinner overnight stay at the hotel Badrinath.
Day 09 - Badrinath– Joshimath - (54 km / Approx. 02 hours drive)
After breakfast, visiting Brahama Kapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is another interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the three km of Badrinathjee. Dinner &Overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 10 - Joshimath– Haridwar - (285 km / Approx. 09hours’ drive)
Morning drive to Haridwar. Enroute visits the Confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River which is called Devprayag. Today bid farewell to your trip to Uttarakhand. After breakfast checkout from the hotel and you will be dropped at Haridwar for your onward journey.
